Does the library have textbooks I can check out?

The library does have a section known as "course reserves." Reserves are set up when the professor of your course opts to make a copy of the text available to everyone.  With course reserves, circulation is generally limited to in the library for only a few hours.  You can search the online card catalog for books on researve.  You can pick up and check out reserves from the Circulation desk.  Sometimes the library does have one or two copies of a text within the circulation stacks, although this is rare.

Another option may be to search OhioLINK . It is important to recognize that libraries do not generally purchase textbooks, and you shouldn't rely on the library or OhioLINK for your textbooks.  If you are going to try and borrow your textbooks, start your search early!
